According to testimonies from local activists quoted by the news media, US occupation forces took to the neighboring country 25 trucks with crude looted from Remelan oil fields, where they established one of their largest military bases in this nation.
The convoy was guarded by armed vehicles belonging to Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an illegal armed body financed and sponsored by Washington.
At least 12 military bases were established by the United States, mostly in the oil and gas fields, mainly in Hasakeh province, while maintaining an enclave in Tanef area, on the border with Iraq, to prevent any land communication between these two countries.
Damascus repeatedly denounced that illegal presence of US troops encourages terrorist and separatist activity, in addition to depriving the Syrian people of wealth through the looting of wheat and oil.
