The proposal for the 2021 summer season is promoted by the municipality and includes virtual and blended activities, including live broadcasts, pre-recorded events and videoconferences.
Workshops and music, theater, dance, literature and other performances are part of the schedule distributed in five axes, which include Agenda of the Metropolitan Culture Network, Landmark Events, Independent Programming, Territorial Agenda and Civic Events.
The event will be staged in different public spaces and cultural centers throughout the month and in compliance with the biosecurity measures issued by local and national authorities to prevent Covid-19 infection.
In this regard, there will be control of the permitted capacity, of the required physical distance and the routes will be itinerant and short, in order to prevent crowds, one of the main causes of the spread of the disease.
More than 150 activities are planned, which on Monday included the so-called Quitunes, with exhibitions of artists and craftspeople on the main streets of the historic center.
Throughout this week and until August 13, one of the alternatives is offered by Casa Bellavista, which is convening a book and publishing fair.
