In an interviewed with Prensa Latina, Jacinto Breton stated: ‘There are those who sardonically and with clean faces come out saying that they want to help Cuba, democracy for Cuba, but what kind of aid and democracy do they want for Cuba?
I honestly thought that Biden would continue with Barack Obama’s policy towards our brotherly country, because when he was at the White House he eased up the coercive measures, visited Cuba, and he was even warmly welcomed by the Cuban people.
Current US president even vowed to change a series of measures as he was a presidential candidate, but it is quite clear, ‘it is easier said than done.’
Breton said that Biden pays attention to Miami gangsters who have always lived off the anti-Cuban policy, and tightens his steps by leading the Cuban people to starve, and this is a crime against humanity.
But Cuba is a light and no one will be able to turn it off. ‘For me, I see first a victorious revolution in the United States than a triumphant counterrevolution.’
On the other hand, Brenton referred to the Cuban people´s tradition and history, ‘Cuba are not going to be surrendered just like that, even if they make up all lies in the world because Cuba has two different realities: the one they are trying to impose on media outlets with lies and unscrupulous deceptions and the Real Cuba.’
