According to confirmed ‘many criminal acts of extreme gravity were verified,’ and indicated that the incidents took place in the Quartier 7 and Arhiba neighborhoods of the capital and in the town of Balbala.
She also pointed out that in the clashes on Monday, several houses were set on fire and people were attacked ‘free of charge’, while ‘investigations are underway and there are many criminals arrested,’ the state news agency ADI reported.
The Attorney General Mohamed Said considered such acts of violence intolerable and assured the adoption of firm actions in line with current laws against all those who cause problems and commit these crimes in the country.
For his part, the Minister of the Interior, Said Nuh Hasan, affirmed that measures will be applied against those responsible for the events and stressed that it ‘will not be tolerated and we will do everything possible so that those responsible for these acts are judged and guarantee public order.’
