The discovery is the second ‘successful’ exploration of the cooperation between the Russian company and Italian company Eni in that nation, the communique released by TASS news agency stated.
The dig is located about 70 kilometers off the coast of Mexico and just 15 kilometers away from the Saasken deposit, discovered in Block 10 in 2020, whose reserves must be assessed by late 2021.
The depth of the well is 1,758 meters below sea level.
