In his daily press briefing on television, Dr. Francisco Duran, national director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), said that Cuba has so far accumulated 403,622 Covid-19 cases and 2,913 deaths since the pandemic broke out in the country on March 11, 2020.
To date, 94,608 active patients are in hospitals or at homes nationwide, including 46,611 suspected cases, 4,042 under epidemiological surveillance and 43,955 active patients with the coronavirus.
On Sunday, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 45,314 PCR tests in real time to detect the presence of the coronavirus, totaling 6,609,428 samples so far.
