Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, spoke by phone on Thursday with Spain´s newly-appointed Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, and among issues discussed was the alleged US support for the ‘rights of Cubans.’
According to a State Department´s statement, Blinken detailed actions his country implements ‘to US neighbor´s well-being, however he does not recognize the impact of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed since six decades ago to Cuba.
After the Jul. 11 riots in various parts of Cuba, goaded on social networks from abroad, mainly from the United States, the Cuban authorities denounce the White House for inciting pronouncements against Havana. pgh/Pll/jha / avr
