The organization issued a statement, which Prensa Latina had access to, in which it pointed out that the United States cannot stand being proven that another world is possible, a world of solidarity, one in which human life is worth more than money, one in which each people choose its own destiny.
As Cuba faces both the worsening of the Covid-19 pandemic and a criminal blockade that generates shortage in spheres essential for life, the United States intensifies its interference by means of a deceitful media campaign to denigrate the Cuban Revolution and find a pretext for an intervention.
All of that is taking place despite an overwhelming vote at the United Nations General Assembly on June 23 to demand that Washington lift the blockade.
Cuba Linda and the solidarity movements are not fooled because ‘we know what a ‘humanitarian intervention’ means: we saw it in Syria, in Libya, in Iraq and most of the countries of Latin America,’ they denounced.
According to the statement, if US President Joseph Biden wanted to help Cuba, it would be easy for him: he only needs to lift the blockade!
The Cuban Revolution built a more fair and humane society, where health care and education are rights and where life expectancy is higher than that in many ‘rich’ countries, according to the French association.
