On his Twitter account, the president wrote: ‘Thanks to our loved Venezuela, its children who are our brothers. What (leaders) Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro founded is indestructible!’

In that message, Diaz-Canel recalled that the world recognizes injustice and joins the call for the elimination of the economic, commercial and financial blockade, considered the main obstacle for Cuba’s development.

Also on Twitter, Maduro recently pointed out that Cuba enjoys international support, ‘which is more aware in this historic time,’ he posted.

In addition, he ratified that Cuba could always count on Venezuela and demanded the end to the ‘criminal measures imposed by imperialism against the Cuban people.’
