At a political ceremony in Caracas for the Day of National Rebellion, known in Cuba as July 26th, Cuban diplomats recalled the significance of such a historic date marking the beginning of the independence struggles in Cuba and reaffirmed that just as that generation did, they will defend national sovereignty at any cost.

The diplomats condemned the media hype and the implementation of new generation techniques of war to overthrow the revolutionary process that has fought all US aggressions for over 60 years.

The document also indicated that the economic, commercial and financial US blockade against Cuba is the major drawback to Cubans´ development and well-being, and is also a flagrant violation of Human Rights.
