US radio broadcasts truth about Cuba amid present attacks

Washington, Jul 23 (Prensa Latina) La Voz Radio in the US city of New Haven, Connecticut, dedicated a special program to support Cuba, at a time when the media attacks on Cuba are increasing.

Cuba, the history that many do not know, is the title with which the WNHH 103.5 FM –a low-power FM and livestreamed online radio station that broadcasts out of Connecticut- was promoted on social networks.

According to John Jairo, its presenter, now everywhere some ‘speak nonsense’, attacks on a country that ‘has been fighting the United States and that has been the dignity of Latin America are enraged.’

Jairo warned that he has read about Cuba, they do not know anything about its history and criticized those who ask for humanitarian intervention.

‘When does the United States intervene for humanitarian reasons? Never,’ said Jairo, who reviewed the consequences of US invasions in the region.

He also pointed out that while Cuba is being attacked, the US press keeps silent about repressive situation and massacres in his country.
