For the second time, the participants in the 6th Volunteer Work Brigades that traveled to Cuba in 2011 expressed their support for the Caribbean nation, amid the destabilizing attempts promoted from the United States.
In an online meeting, members of several nations, including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, discussed the urgency of creating a common front to ask the Joe Biden Government to lift the unilateral blockade imposed by Washington on Havana for six decades, and denounce the aggressive political-media operation against Cuba.
The meeting was saluted by the Argentinean coordinator of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Maylin Montero, who told participants that the blockade imposed on her country is cruel, genocidal and is the biggest humanitarian damage suffered by Cuba.
She pointed out that Cubans today are not willing to hand over the work, independence and their sovereignty, and denounced how the blockade prevents Cuba from making progress.
