In his daily morning press briefing at the National Palace, the president issued an in-depth criticism of that State power for the waste of resources and salaries of up to 15,000 dollars a month and more, which violates the law that no one can earn more than 5,000 dollars the President of the Republic earns.

He insisted that the law must be implemented in all State powers because they are funds and resources emanating from the public budget. High officials cannot have excesses, or high salaries, or large social benefits.

Obrador announced that he will ask the Judiciary to define its administrative policy not only in the fight against corruption but also in an austere management of the nation’s resources. The Council of the Judiciary can carry out this action and issue an order within the Judiciary about this issue.
