The limitations on Cuba in the economic field, said Leon, ‘are fundamentally due to the murderous 62-year blockade imposed by the northern neighbors.’

According to the professor ‘the Revolution is not an individual invention or whim, it is the work of anti-imperialist patriot Fidel Castro and his people, who were inspired by the work and the luminous thinking of heroes such as Jose Marti, our Maximo Gomez, Antonio Maceo and liberator Simon Bolivar and Jose de San Martin, among others.’
