Official sources said Spain´s Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Reyes Maroto will meet with the Joe Biden administration´s senior trade representatives.
On Monday, Maroto is scheduled to meet with executives from the US Industrial Corporation Alcoa, based in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Maroto will then travel to Washington, where she will meet with executives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) about initiatives to move on mutual collaboration for projects in Latin America.
Plus, the Spanish minister will talk with personalities from the so-called US think tanks about the future of transatlantic economic and commercial relations and the role of Spain.
Later, she will hold a meeting with delegates from Spanish companies based in the United States, and on Tuesday she will meet with US Secretary of Commerce Gina Marie Raimondo to discuss about the steel and aluminum sectors, Spanish black olve tariff and the antidumping procedure impacting on wind tower exports.
