In his speech, Putin spoke out for doing away with global barriers to vaccine production and deliveries, TASS news agency reported.
‘We consider it important to work further on creating new vaccine production facilities in the Asia-Pacific region by removing administrative and other barriers that hamper their production and deliveries,’ Putin said.
President Putin backed up the organized mass immunization against Covid-19, including among immigrant workers.
He stated that Russia is ready for close cooperation with the APEC member countries in the organization of mass immunization, health rehab and recovery of those who were already infected.
In addition, Putin stressed that Russia had overcome the consequences of the pandemic and that its economy has largely recovered.
