In his Twitter account, the Cuban Foreign Minister stated that in the contact he denounced the increase in the aggression of the United States against this Antillean nation.

The day before, Rodríguez pointed out that his country is under the effects of an unconventional war, intensified in recent weeks, in which social networks are used to promote destabilization actions such as those that occurred on July 11 in several Cuban cities.

He also stated that the Government of that northern country and the Republican administration of the state of Florida financed the campaign to promote riots on the island, through the microblogging company Twitter based in California.

The official later offered a press conference with foreign and local media on the present situation in Cuba.
