President Maduro claims U.S., Colombia bankroll violence in Venezuela

Caracas, Jul 11 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on Saturday denounced that violence touched off in Caracas by criminal gangs is wholly bankrolled by the United States and Colombia.

Assessed Gran Cacique Indio Guaicaipuro Operation rolled out on July 7 in the southwest of Caracas, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez also said these armed attacks cast to create anxiety and anguish in Venezuelan people in an attempt to undermine the rule of law and the institutional framework of security agencies.

Delcy Rodríguez stressed ¨it´s no coincidence that such clashes built up on March 16 after the visit of the U.S. Southern Command head Craig Faller and more recently CIA Director Williams Burns to Colombia, with the supposed purpose of being in co-ordination with some Colombian armed force groups.

She said these attacks are also closely related to the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, where 26 Colombians were arrested for being deeply involved in the murder.

Rodríguez pinned down that these irregular groups are in league with Juan Guaidó and pointed to news releases reporting that the mercenary contractor company of Colombians involved in the assassination in Haiti is based in Florida and owned by Venezuelan opposition activist Antonio Intriago.
