The Syrian party leader delivered these words by videoconference during the Communist Party of China (CPC) and World Political Parties Summit held under the theme ‘For the people’s wellbeing: The responsibility of political parties.’

From this nation that faces one of the bloodiest and most aggressive wars and remains firm against the terrorism of an imperialist State, we extend our most sincere congratulations and greetings to the leadership of the CPC and its communist leaders, and the friendly people of China, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of this party, Al-Hilal said.

The official assured that Damascus has always been interested in continuing to develop the relations between the two peoples and parties that come together for their approach of struggle for liberation and against neo-colonialism and terrorism’s forces.

The struggle by the Syrian and Chinese peoples proved that the national liberation process in each country is structurally integrated with the global liberation process, Al-Hilal clarified, and added ‘the nation that works for the development of its people contributes to a better world.’
