Numbers of deaths and infections in the states south of the great desert have maintained a worrying upward trend for almost a month, aggravated by the slowness in the vaccination of populations due to economic shortages and deficiencies of the Covax program in supplying them to the most disadvantaged in that region.

The CPCE report for the last 24 hours reflects a total of 147 thousand 53 deaths from causes associated with the deadly disease with a tendency to increase due to the favorable conditions encountered by the disease for its spread.

In terms of infections, the number also increased significantly: 27,680 in the day this Monday, several dozens above those reported on Sunday; the total number of infected reached five million 695 thousand 604.
