In a statement issued by the Venezuela´s Foreign Ministry, the Bolivarian government reiterated the deep friendship and solidarity ties between US and Venezuelan peoples since the very beginning of the fights for the founding and emancipation of both nations.
Venezuela expressed its support for the US people´s efforts for a more just society, ‘that can shed the chains of racism, inequality and the supposed exceptionalism of an elite whose ambition has caused great damage inside and outside its territory.’
Likewise, the Venezuelan government vowed for the definitive fall of anachronistic barriers hampering a respect, cooperation and understanding relationship with US rulers.
Finally, the South American nation ratified its commitment to move on the construction of its own destiny, despite aggression, ‘with firm conviction that one day peace diplomacy and respect for international law will prevail,’ the text concluded.
