According to Xinhua agency, this is a joint initiative by the Peking University Publishing House and the Community of Chinese and Latin American Studies (CECLA) that will bring together experts from this nation, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru and Argentina.
The project will seek to disseminate information and expand knowledge about that region, since in recent years, more and more Chinese citizens show interest in visiting it or establishing cooperation relationships.
Guo Cunhai, CECLA coordinator and co-editor of this series, stressed that this project will allow access to Latin American bibliography not translated by European and US publishing houses.
China stated this Monday that it will work with Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen friendship and expand mutually beneficial cooperation, highlighting the stable development of the bilateral relations after 60 years they were established.
