Amid political and economic diversity, we have to find links of common struggle for our interests, said Llorenti in an interview with Situational Analysis TV program, aired by the Globovisión Venezuelan channel.
In this regard, Llorenti underlined the goal of strengthening the instances of true integration based on Latin American and Caribbean interests; ‘transcending from mere integration to unity, that is the goal,’ he said.
‘Neoliberalism has generated a lot of poverty and despair in our peoples, (…) because it only seeks to steal our resources, cheap labor force, our trade routes and to turn us into simple consumers,’ said Llorenti.
He also highlighted ALBA-TCP´s joint efforts to fight the pandemic, including the creation of a humanitarian fund for purchasing vaccines and exchanging good practices in health protocols.
ALBA-TCP ´s authorities ratified the will of genuinely Latin American and Caribbean integration, allowing to confront the claims of imperialist domination and aggressions against sovereign States of the region.
