This aggression flagrantly violates the territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq, the Foreign Ministry stated in a communique.

The text demanded that the US administration must immediately cease those attacks and respect the independence and unity of the territory and the people of the two countries.

Such attacks demonstrate once again the recklessness of US policies and the need to withdraw its forces from the countries whose peoples and constitutional institutions demand it, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.

According to the note, these attacks worsen the tense regional situation and demonstrate what Syria has repeatedly announced that the US military presence in the region is primarily intended to favor Israeli interests and terrorist and separatist militias.
