In statement to Prensa Latina, Toledo, who is also a founder and moderator of the channel, along with Michele Mesagna, made a brief assessment of the first nearly 40 direct posts on YouTube and made as a priority to continue the cohesive work within solidarity in Europe, ‘because Cuba continues to be attacked.’
‘It has been eight months, and in fact, it is a very short period, in which we have achieved experience, maturity and organization, in view of our mission to unite forces that are fighting the United States blockade and in defense of the Cuban Revolution, a battle that motivates and commits us, he said.
According to Toledo, during this initial stage, which began on October 18, more than 40 associations that support Cuba promoted their events on the channel, including the mobilizations to condemn the US economic, commercial and financial blockade.
Solidarity leaders from Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Russia, Serbia, Sweden and Ukraine, among other countries, have posted their actions and projects to support the Caribbean nation on the Europe for Cuba channel.
