We call on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions and ‘impose sanctions’ against that country, the oficial release, disclosed by the official news agency WAFA, states.

The Palestinian appeal comes at a time when an International Criminal Court investigation into Israel’s war crimes particularly in the West Bank is stalled due to air, sea and land bombings of the Gaza Strip in May.

The Israeli occupation government disregards reports by international organizations and institutions according to which ‘they practice the worst forms of racial discrimination, apartheid and persecution against Palestinians,’ the statements notes.

The interaction between countries and the United Nations and their interests in these reports, if there are some, does not have any merit and they do not encourage international organizations to provide protection for our people and implement UN relevant resolutions, the official statement points out.
