We support Syria’s right to use all means to eradicate terrorism and recover all its occupied lands, including the Golan Heights usurped by Israel, the association declared in a statement issued at the closing of its meeting in Damascus.
The statement called for the lifting of the unjust blockade imposed on Syria by the United States and its allies, especially the so-called Caesar Act that tightens the embargo.
We call on Arab governments to condemn the policy of sanctions and on the Arab League to restore Syria to its natural seat in this institution, the statement stressed.
The Federation also condemned colonial powers’ support to terrorist gangs and the occupation of parts of the Syrian territory, and also called on the international community to pressure the occupation countries to completely withdraw.
The event was attended by representatives from Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.
