The cargo was seized at a farm with a 700-meter underground track in Beni, a region on the border with Brazil, the Government Minister Eduardo del Castillo said at a press conference. The cocaine packages came into view in a camouflaged cove at a building 800 meters off the clandestine track, both places used for refueling, storing cocaine from Peru and its subsequent transfer to Brazil.
‘Once again we prove with deeds and not just with words our commitment to crack down on drug trafficking,’ Eduardo del Castillo stated.
