In a press release, they pointed out that in the past few days in this superior stage of Colombian resistance, it is clear that there is a greater stock of energy, heroism and awareness than in previous time (in reference to the strike in 2019).

In that regard, the organizations noted that it is due to that reason that they cannot kill social protests despite the repression exercised by the National Police, the Riot Mobile Squat (Esmad) and the Military.

They warned that bloodshed is huge, due to that repression ordered by President Duque.

In that scenario, they pointed out, the popular and left forces in the world have organized demonstrations, events and many forms of solidarity in several countries.

Among the signatories of the document are the Argentinean Liberation, Chilean Communist, Spanish Workers Communist, Workers World, US Workers World, Swiss Communist, German Communist and Puerto Rican Communist parties, the Italian Communist magazine, and the US Freedom Road Socialist Organization.
