The official explained that cyberspace is increasingly becoming a place for the fight against geopolitical opponents and pointed out that most of the cyberattacks against the country were perpetrated from the United States, Germany and the Netherlands, Sputnik news agency stated.
Public administration facilities, the military-industrial complex, the health, transportation, science and education institutions, among others, have been target of such attacks against Russia in 2020, according to Patrushev.
Among the results of the recent presidential summit between the United States and Russia in Geneva, both countries’ intention to work together for the renewal of nuclear strategic stability agreements and the fight against cyberattacks was discussed.
