Moscow stated that the Sea Breeze 2021 multinational military exercises, to be held from June 28 to July 10 in Ukraine territory and in the Black Sea region, ‘foster Kiev’s militaristic sentiments,’ the Twitter publication stated.

The text by the Russian diplomatic legation pointed out that the scale and the ‘clearly aggressive’ nature of the exercises do not correspond to the real security tasks in that region and may increase the risk of unwanted incidents.

The Russian representation in Washington called for abandoning such practices, as ‘all emerging problems in this region can be solved by the Black Sea states, with no need for external assistance,’ the document stressed.

The press service of the US Embassy in Ukraine informed that 32 countries, included the United States, 5,000 troops, 32 ships and 40 aircraft will participate in the maneuvers.
