Brussels, Jun 21 (Prensa Latina) Cuban residents in Belgium on Sunday demanded an end of the United States economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Caribbean nation, during rallies in Brussels and the port city of Antwerp.

The rallies were convened by the Bridges of Love initiative, led by Cuban-American professor Carlos Lazo.

Cuban flags, banners in rejection to that US policy and slogans such as ‘Blockade No, Cuba Yes’, ‘Bridges of Love Yes, blockade No’ and ‘Down with the blockade’ dominated the actions, which were attended by Belgians in solidarity with Cuba.

The call to end the US blockade has been expressed at the Atomium building the fourth time less than three months, and was accompanied by the contagious joy and musical rhythms from Cuba.
