Every third Sunday of June, Cuba celebrates Fathers’ Day, as a way to reciprocate their affection and dedication.
Fathers’ Day was first celebrated in Cuba on June 19, 1938, at the initiative of writer and artist Dulce Maria Borrero, who advocated for generalizing the homage to fathers.
