During the friendly talks, both parties expressed satisfaction with the good state of relations between the Holy See and Georgia, specifically regarding mutual collaboration in the cultural, scientific and educational fields, as well as the contribution from the Catholic Church in the country.
They also spoke about international and regional issues, paying special attention to humanitarian matters, and underlined the importance of promoting justice and social harmony, the press release noted.
