Previous secret investigations allowed the Prosecutor’s Office to request the indictment of Pereira for crimes of omission made by Cardoso, repeated abuse of functions, continued clandestine work, disclosure of secrets and omission in continuation of the duties of the position.

A protected witness, subpoenaed by the prosecutor in a hearing, revealed that Pereira notified criminals of the raids that the Police were going to carry out, as well as using public goods for his own benefit, such as fuel, among others.

Sanchez spoke out for the resignation of the Minister of Tourism, and otherwise announced that his party will take legislative action.
