The platform that brings together several structures from political sphere warned Thursday at a press conference about Covid-19 infection rise, in addition to the increased armed violence and current Hurricane season.
Platform´s Secretary-General Romuald Davilma stressed that today´s situation marked by instability weakens state apparatus, and he considered that only a forthright dialogue among various forces in the country can provide a final solution to the crisis.
In this regard, Davilma trusts that the interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph´s mandate renewal reflects the administration´s will to reach a national agreement to tackle down on present emergencies.
Davilma also suggested reestablishing the Provisional Electoral Council and setting up a broad consensus to endow Haiti with a new Constitution, yet such a process has been criticized by hostile forces and a great number of civil society organizations.
