The official exchange rate on Friday morning was 85.95 rubles per euro, a decrease by 15.5 kopecks compared to Thursday’s rate, Interfax news agency noted.
At the same time, fluctuations were recorded on Thursday in the rate to the US dollar compared to the last price of the domestic currency of around 72.2575 rubles (6.5 kopecks less than the previous report).
The ruble strengthens slightly against the US dollar and the euro amid an increased demand for liquidity in the Russian currency within the June fiscal period, Interfax-CEA experts said.
