On Sunday, 311,318 new vaccines were administrated, with which the vaccination goes as scheduled. Mexico has 127 million inhabitants, but those who are on vaccination age above 18 years are less than 118 million.
Until Sunday, 26,081,614 people had been vaccinated, representing 29 percent of the country’s population over 18 years of age.
Fifty-eight percent of them, equivalent to 15,003,652 million people, have a complete single dose or two application vaccine scheme and 11,077,962, which represents the remaining 42 percent, have half scheme.
Mexico City is where the most vaccines have been administrated. According to the SSA data, 49 percent of the population of this city has received at least one dose, followed by Zacatecas with 40 percent of its population, 37 percent in Yucatan, 35 in Tabasco, 34 percent in Baja California Sur and Colima.
During the technical report about the situation of the pandemic and the update of the immunization strategy, the federal Secretariat stated that during the last report, 23,895 active cases were recorded across the nation.
