According to the Twitter account of the Presidency, the members of the Secretariat accompanied the president on his visit to that territory, the ninth where exchanges are held with local authorities to analyze the party meeting’s agreements and the strategy to follow to implement them.

During the meeting, Roberto Morales, member of the Political Bureau of the PCC, acknowledged the response of the young people from Pinar del Rio to the current complexities that Cuba is going through, and noted that this way of acting should be part of the daily work and the work of the Young Communist League.

On Thursday, similar exchanges took place in the central provinces of Ciego de Avila and Camaguey, where they insisted on the importance of strengthening the work in the grassroots structures of the PCC.

The importance of the comprehensive preparation of those who have leadership tasks, and to carry out deep and honest debates among the militants of the organization about all the issues of society that concern them, were reiterated in those meetings.

They also alluded to the new scenarios of ideological confrontation and the role of the members of the PCC in the promotion of production, economy and the implementation of measures related to the transformations of the social economic model of Cuba.
