According to the Ministry of Commerce of China, Minister Wang Wentao held phone talks with his U.S. counterpart, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.
According to the statement, both parts expressed their opinions on common worries related to trade between China and the US in a ‘sincere and pragmatic manner.’
This is the third time in two weeks that officials of the two countries dialogue after the talks held by China’s Prime Minister Liu He, first with U.S. trade representative Katherine Tai, and second with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
