In the exchange, led by Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez, and the secretary general of Greece’s Foreign Ministry, Themistocles Demiris, they also reviewed the current state of bilateral relations, according to the Cubaminrex website.
The delegations acknowledged the feelings of friendship and solidarity existing between the two peoples, in addition to discussing international and regional issues of common interest.
Cuba’s deputy foreign minister expressed her gratitude to Greek representatives for their support for the resolution against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade, which Cuba presents every year to the United Nations General Assembly.
In addition, both sides expressed their satisfaction for the fluid exchange and cooperation existing in the multilateral area.
The participation of Greek entrepreneurs in the Havana International Fair; the different actions of the solidarity movements with Cuba, including the nomination of the medical Henry Reeve contingent for the Nobel Peace Prize, and the diplomatic talks, are expressions of the state of bilateral relations.
