The doctor pointed out that the new drug has advantages over plasma, since monotherapies do not always show the expected efficacy, forcing doctors to opt for combined treatments.
In order to fight the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, Russia has the Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona, CoviVac vaccines and more recently Sputnik Light, a single-dose version of the country’s Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus.
