Iranian president assures to solve problems with US

Tehran, Jun 3 (Prensa Latina) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani assured that key problems with the United States regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal have been resolved, local media highlighted on Thursday.

‘During the nuclear talks underway in Vienna, Austria, we are negotiating the solution of pending issues with Washington,’ the Iranian president said in statements reproduced by Mehr news agency.

No one can say that the JCPOA was a bad deal and it is obvious that everyone wants to save it, Rouhani pointed out.

Today, the United States, the 4+1 group (the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany) and the Islamic Republic are willing, he stressed, to return to what was sealed in 2015 that Washington abandoned.

‘We may have different opinions, but we have reached a common opinion on important issues,’ which is a great victory for the Iranian nation, added the president, according to HispanTV.
