The Cuban president, who is accompanied by members of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, highlighted the importance of this meeting with PCC authorities in the territory, less than two months after the Party’s Congress in Havana.

The meeting paves the way to continue giving life to the PCC Congress, held in April 2021, and gives continuity to a journey that began in late May in western Cuba.

Aspects such as the strengthening of the organization’s structures and its link with the people, as well as its role in Cuba’s economic battle and political assurance of the 63 measures approved to revitalize agricultural production, are some of the elements that will be debated in this meeting.
