Communist Party of China honors veteran militants

Beijing, Jun 2 (Prensa Latina) The Communist Party of China (CPC) began on Wednesday to award medals to the militants who have been in its ranks for more than five decades, in the context of the celebrations for the 100 years of its founding.

The awarding ceremonies take place across the country, in which 7.1 million members will be awarded. These events will last until July 1, just when the Party will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

In this way, the CPC honors the work of those who contributed to its development for more than 50 years.

The Party prepared a program with political, cultural and social activities in greeting to its 100th anniversary.

Wang Xiaohui, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, recently informed that the plan includes an educational campaign to spread, mainly among young people, the history, achievements and performance of that political force.
