Ruy Lopez Ridaura, director of the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control, explained there is evidence that this disease has declined for over 15 weeks and the number of cases in the country has dropped compared to the first wave in 2020.
Other states showing signs of a new surge are Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan, Colima, Baja California Sur and Baja California.
