Under the name ¨Guerrero Cubano¨, a person on YouTube quoted international journalists covering the sports event, who told him they felt too startled at growing aggression threats urged by local politicians against Cuban ballplayers.

The activist (Guerrero Cubano) asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other federal agencies to take actions to guarantee Cuban athletes’ safety.

The complaint referred to unscrupulous people, who from their accounts on social media, called their followers to attend Monday´ ballgame at the West Palm Beach stadium in order to harass Cuban ballplayers.

In this regard, Guerrero Cubano pointed out that these people are secretly threatening the pre-Olympic baseball tournament organizers, those who own the stadium, and also local authorities, so their interest is to sabotage Monday’s Cuba-Venezuela game.
