In a virtual meeting with the Cuban Acting Charge d’affaires in Helsinki Víctor Manuel Rodríguez, Alametsa regretted the intentional absence of the Cuban reality from the media.
After recalling her official visit to Cuba in 2013, Alametsa became interested in the present Covid-19 situation in the Caribbean country.
Manuel Rodríguez updated Alametsa on the country´s fight against the disease and the development of five vaccine candidates despite hard conditions imposed by the US blockade.
