Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza met with Palestine Ambassador in Caracas Fadi Alzaben, to whom he expressed solidarity from Venezuelan authorities and people and their demand for Palestine’s self-determination, the Foreign Ministry tweeted.

In a recent communiqué, Venezuela condemned Israel’s violent and unjustifiable actions against the Palestinian people, including forced displacements and indiscriminate bombings on the civil population.

Venezuela reaffirmed its historic position and principles in defense of Palestine’s sovereignty, independence and self-determination, and ratified the call for dialogue between the two parties, on the basis of respect for the United Nations resolutions, as a way to find a negotiated settlement of the conflict.
