On Twitter, the Russian government thanked Arce, after being inoculated on Monday, for his trust in Sputnik V vaccine, recognized as one of the most effective and safe in Covid-19 times.

Bolivia expects to guarantee through the expanded plan, until next October, an effective immunity in 70 percent of the inhabitants, that is to say, 7,180,428 citizens.

The vaccination process began with the arrival of 20,000 doses of Sputnik V on January 28, and continued with healthcare professionals, people with basic diseases, people over 50 years old, journalists and teachers as priorities.

So far, reports from the Ministry of Health account for 1,376,494 people who have received the first and second doses of Sputnik V, the Anglo-Swedish AstraZeneca, the Chinese Sinopharm or the Pfizer-BioNTech (United States-Germany).
